We clean carpets with a fast acting, liquid carpet hot water extraction solution. The solution cleans by penetrating the carpet fibers and dislodging, suspending, and emulsifying the soils so that they may easily be picked up by the vacuum wand leaving no soil or cleaner behind in the carpet. The superior carpet cleaning of the extraction method can clean carpet right down to its backing compared to the surface cleaning action of other cleaning methods. The pH balanced controlled formula we use contains optical brighteners to revive and enhance original colors as well as polymeric soil retardants to coat carpet fibers, prevent soil penetration and absorption. Cleaned carpets stay clean longer with routine vacuuming.

1. What type of cleaning method do you use?

We use two types of cleaning methods, Dry cleaning & Steam cleaning. Dry cleaning takes up to 2 hours to dry, and the Steam cleaning takes 4 to 6 hours depending on the temperature and air flow in the home. Try to keep the temperature at about 75-78 degrees.

2. How do I know which is the best cleaning method to use?

The dry cleaning method is good for lightly @ medium soiled carpets, carpets that needs to dry fast in a timely matter ex.) businesses that are open round the clock and higher end carpets such as Berber and other top of the line carpets. The steam cleaning method is good for medium to heavily soiled carpets that would need cleaning down to it's backing so the soil definitely needs to extracted using this method.

3. How much water, if any, will be left in my carpet?

97% of the water that goes on your carpet will be extracted into our Commercial Steam Cleaner/Extractor along with the soil that is in your carpet allowing you to walk on it once we’re done. Just remember to wear clean, rubber-soled shoes or socks and be very careful to avoid slips and falls.

4. How long does it take to clean my carpet?

Each case is different when cleaning carpet. An average room takes about 20 to 30 minutes depending on the severity of the soil in the carpet. An average home (whole house cleaning) takes about 2 to 3 hours ,again, depending on the severity of the soil in the carpet.  Also, each stain in the carpet can take an additional 15-60 minutes per stain.

5. Will the water damage my padding underneath the carpet?

No, as long as the water is extracted properly along with the proper drying method, it will not damage your padding.

6. Do you move furniture?

We move light household items such as coffee tables, chairs, etc. We don't move heavy household items. We ask that the areas that need cleaning are clear and vacuumed and ready to go upon arrival for service for faster service.

7. How long will it take for my furniture to dry?

Furniture usually takes anywhere from 8 to 24 hours to completely dry. We recommend allowing it to dry overnight before using.

8. Can I walk on my carpet after it has been clean?

We recommend that you keep the traffic off for at least 2 hours. If you walk on the carpet, please wear clean, rubber-soled shoes or socks. Walking on freshly cleaned carpet with bare feet may leave oil spots.

9. What should I use to spot clean my carpet?

While many products on the market are quite impressive, quite often they tend to set the stains they fail to remove. Our company recommends plain water with a  spot remover we use and suggest.

10. What are DuPont Teflon and 3M Scotchgard?

DuPont Teflon and 3M Scotchgard are used to protect the fibers from spots, spills, and stains. While they will not prevent stains from occurring, they allow you (the customer) to clean up any stains that occur before they penetrate into the carpet fibers and become permanent.

11. Will all the spots come out?

We will treat all of the spotted areas with the most professional methods known in the industry. However, we cannot guarantee their removal. Many agents affect carpet dyes and spots can set if not blotted up immediately.

12. Will my carpet get dirtier faster after cleaning?

This was true when carpets were shampooed only. Shampoo left a residue that attracted soil. But our professional steam cleaning does not leave this residue. Additional protection is obtained with the application of Teflon or Scotchgard. Though regular carpet cleaning carpets will stay cleaner longer, last longer, and be easier to maintain.

13. How often should I have my carpet cleaned?

Major carpet manufacturers recommend cleaning the carpet every 6 to 18 months, depending on the amount of traffic that has been on the carpeted areas. Areas that you use most often, such as the staircase, hallways family rooms, dining rooms, and lobbies probably should be cleaned every 6 months. Areas used less frequently may be cleaned every 12 to 18 months.

14. What is a Deep Cleaning?

A deep cleaning is basically a double cleaning. Your carpets will be pretreated heavily 2 times, the treatment will be allowed to dwell in the carpets for 5 to 10 minutes loosening the soil in the carpet,  then the extraction process begins picking up the solution, soil, and stains. Along with this process the technician will make double and triple the passes with the vacuumed wand than would be made with a regular steam clean bringing your carpets to the highest degree of cleanness as well as a smile on your face. For extra heavily soiled carpets we recommend you with a  Deep Scrub and Steam Clean combo.

15. What makes you different from other carpet cleaning companies?

It's simple. We offer a better job for a better price.

Why is it so important that I have my carpet cleaned by a "Professional" Carpet Cleaner?

1. Your carpet has deposits of soil that lie deep in the fibers of the carpet that your average household carpet cleaning machine (Rug Doctor) won’t pick up.

2. These deposits are dust mites, germs, and dirt or grime you traffic on the bottom of your shoes which causes mold, allergies and other health issues.

3. Odor Control: any carpet that hasn’t been cleaned in a long period of time (6-12 months) produces an odor like “clothes in a laundry room” that hasn’t been washed. This odor can leave your home with an unpleasant smell.

4. It preserves your carpet allowing you to go much longer without replacing carpet which leads to saving a lot more money in the long run. Soil in carpet is very powerful. It tears into the fibers over a period of time taking the carpet out its original form while leaving the look of aged carpet.

5. Professional Clean Carpet increases the value of your home allowing you to sale or rent it much faster.

6. A Professional Carpet Tech has been trained, knowledgeable, understandable of carpet maintenance and will clean your carpet to its highest potential.
